Statutory Assessment Tests Dates
KS2 SATs 2023
Please find below the dates for the National KS2 SATs. The tests will take place over a period of four days from Tuesday 9th May to Friday 12th May 2023.
KS2 SATs week 2023 Timetable

KS1 Assessments for Year 2
The KS1 test period will be held in the month of May. The children will complete KS1 SAT papers as timetabled by the school.
The STA and DfE decided that the 2023 KS1 SATs should go ahead to allow for future comparisons with KS2 SATs results.
The KS1 SATs for 2023 will be the final year of statutory KS1 SATs tests before they are phased out. They will be replaced by the Reception Baseline Assessment.
Year 1: Phonics Screening Check
Year 1 children will complete their phonics screening check in the week beginning Monday, 5th June 2023.
Year 2: Phonics Screening Check
The children who did not pass their phonics screening check at the end of Year 1, will complete it in the week beginning Monday, 5th June 2023.
Year 4: Multiplication Check
The children will complete the multiplication check within the 3 week period starting Monday, 5th June 2023.
